Fun at Random
Due to our continuous efforts to provide comprehensive reviews for the games found at BGames (and I do include you guys who rate them, otherwise this wouldn’t be possible), today’s games tell tales of madness, adventure, morality and happy endings. Er, right. As a matter of fact, this selection couldn’t be more heterogeneous if I tried: the only connection among them is, well, the fun they bring along.
The first reviewed game is Mad Karate Men, which is not a lot more than that. Basically, you control a guy that looks a lot like Steven Seagal and has a very short temper; ergo you go around choking people in the streets. Of course, these people are not regular guys, but businessmen (or so indicate their briefcases), so we might be onto something. While we discover what that something is, our mission is to hit these guys as hard as we can, earning mad points to be spent in upgrades. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the game wants us to be as mad crazy as we possibly can! Who are we to refuse?

Bright Spot Challenge is, at first sight, the complete opposite. The premise of the game is that you have reached La Quinta, a really nice hotel (and yes, apparently this is a real place) and now you have to click on as many dynamic items as you can. The good news is that rolling your mouse over the items seems to work just as fine. The good news is that rolling your mouse over the items seems to work just as fine. There are twelve sets, which change automatically regardless of your clicks, and 282 items that may pop up from the most unlikely places. Quiet, laid back fun, but fun nonetheless.

Then, there is Jumpie 2 which, quite frankly, is more my thing. This is a sort of “click and drag” game, in which you click on Jumpie and then you drag your mouse to determine the angle and power for his jump. Basically, you have the poor guy jumping through hoops, literally. There are twenty-four levels to be completed, each of them with a limited number of lives that you can use. The fewer lives you use, the more points you get. Once you fly through a hoop, it disappears; but until then, be very careful not to crash against it!

Finally, we have Line Game Orange. So, I don’t know what’s with the name (no, seriously), but I can tell you that the game is lots of fun. Basically you have to use your mouse to draw a line from point A to point B (a.k.a. the green ball) without hitting the walls or any obstacles (namely the red balls, which tend to move). There are six training stages and eight more difficult levels, but, honestly? I couldn’t complete even the second training set, so you might want to revise that.

Once you have tried these, there can be no outcome other than fun for hours.
